3. A person who is not a tax agent engaged in the business of tax service agent without a license shall be deemed to have committed an obstruction act as stated in article 128 and shall be punished under article 136 of the Law on Taxation with a fine of 5,000,000 Riel (five million Riel) to 10,000,000 Riel (ten million Riel) or imprisonment from 1 month to 1 year or both for individuals or persons responsible for companies, legal entities and business groups, including a director or manager or owner who holds more than 50% of the shares or voting rights.
4. Real taxpayers who receive a supply of tax services from a person who is not a tax agent who operates a tax agent without a license are subject to a fine of 5,000,000 Riels (five million Riels). |

- A person who is not a tax agent engaged in the business of tax service agent without a license can be individuals or persons responsible for companies, legal entities and business groups, including a director or manager or owner who holds more than 50% of the shares or voting rights. Any client who receives a supply of tax services from a person who is not a tax agent engaged in the business of tax service agent without a license is illegal. Therefore, all clients should be aware of the information.
